a month), a whooping 44 dollars is what I received. After we went to dinner at Sanruku... I think that is the name, anyways its a Japanese restaurant and the food was better than what my aunt and I thought it would be. I would def. recommend their Nabe Udon, which I must say was mighty delicious. After that I walked my aunt and cousin back to their hotel, hung around a little and then got my butt back on the #38 and got home, all by 8 pm. I should go get my things ready for school tomorrow and organize my life + room a bit. Until next time... adieu!

"The Cure for Pain": Family
Today, was a beautiful and unforgettable day. One that will be stored in my heart and memory for a long time. To cure the pain of homesick and lonely feelings all one need is family. Simply put: Homesick + any family member = euphoria. I have been a bit homesick for a couple of days... that was until today. My aunt and cousin, who will now be attending school in San Francisco, have arrived to move my cousin, B, in to her new dorm. I met up with them this morning to help them move in, buy the necessities needed for dorm life, and to act as their guide. The day started with getting my ass out of bed and onto the bus seat of the #38L. Then off to meet my family I went. After the hellos and hugs we went to breakfast at Farm:Table. This charming little breakfast spot/cafe had a small yet concentrated menu of wonderfully, delicious homemade food. We decided to order all three dishes on the menu and share. First off we started with the homemade cereal with almonds, hazelnuts, plain yogurt, banana, and a drizzle of honey. This starter was so fresh and delicious. The crunchiness of the cereal really pleased me as did the textures of the nuts with the banana and yogurt. Next up was the homemade walnut bread with nut butter topped with granola, honey, and apples. This was alright. I think the bread and everything else were great but all paired together, I did not get much of a contrast or flavor explosion I craved. For our final dish we has cut pieces of baguette with ham, pesto, egg, cracked pepper, and arugula. This was a simple and tasty dish with enough flavor to satisfy my palette. Washed down with some green tea, I was more than a happy camper; I was a FAT & FULL happy camper, a la Russell from the movie UP! After breakfast we went to check my cousin into her new dorm, which I must say is very nice and clean. The place I think must have been a hotel that is now her dorm. After checking in we went to buy what she needed for her dorm, dropped it off at her dorm, got my period on the way to lunch, went to Barneys to check if it leaked and it did, then tried to wash the stain out in the Barneys Bathroom, went to eat lunch at Cafe Madeleine, ordered a cup of Tomato Bisque, a grilled Mozzarella and Tomato Sandwich, and a Ricotta Tortellini, which we of course all shared. Then off to the hotel where my aunt and cousin are staying at for a quick rest and wash my pants period complete with a drying session with a hair dryer. After we rested our whittle size 5-6 Asian feet we went to drop off my cousin's luggage bags at her dorm, then went to buy her art supplies, then went back to her dorm to drop them off... again, which was when I found out I got an Art Gallery Internship!!! After all the cheerful congrats we went to shop a little for my cousin and got cash back to make up the difference from the prices of what I bought last week, which had dropped by 50% (that is why you should all save your receipts and keep them with you for about
